Shop Boyz Actually Party Like Rockstars
According to a recent interview with SOHH magazine, the men of Shop Boyz said partying is like a religion and they want to bring that religion to the masses.
“We’re not using nothing. We’re just promoting to live free, to party. If you look at their [rock stars’] parties, the way they live, the way they move, it’s almost like they don’t care about what whoever feel,” Sheed told SOHH. “We feel like that, but we’re not trying to be exactly like them, we just like their lifestyle…like a religion almost. It’s a lifestyle. We make a different kind of music, we don’t believe in a lot of things they believe in, but we do believe in one thing, that’s that partying. And we’re bringing that.”
They make it clear though that they don’t want to be rock stars, just “party like them”.
”We’re not saying that we’re rock stars. We’re not saying that we know anything,” Fat explained. “People look at the word rock star and say, ‘ok, they’re trying to be rock stars.’ The key word is ‘like,’ party like a rock star.”

Over 2,000,000 Party Like a Rockstar Ringtones Downloaded
The Party Like a Rockstar ring tone has been downloaded over 2 million times. Thats an unblievable number and sales show no sign of slowing down.
Now that the track has hit iTunes they have stayed in the top 2 for over 2 weeks and as of today were the #3 selling track.
The Hot Singles chart on Billboard has the Shop Boyz track, Party Like a Rockstar, jumping from the 50’s to #2 in only one week. This is amazing feat for any band, especially the first single they ever released.
